Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance at Bennett, CO. You will learn safe work practices in the solar industry and support on-site operations under supervision.

Responsibilities include basic solar equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with on-call support and accurate reporting of work performed. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally are required.

Qualifications

• Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (technical training a plus).
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems."
• Lock Out/Tag Out knowledge is required.
• Ability to operate basic testing equipment.
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for training/site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety as the core responsibility and follow safe practices at all times.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency repairs.
• Complete documentation and reports of work performed.
• Collaborate on process improvements and new technologies.
