Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a full-time, on-site role at a Broad Brook, CT jobsite. The position involves field maintenance of solar equipment and learning safe work practices under supervision.

You will operate company equipment, perform basic testing and troubleshooting, and complete required reports while staying alert to on-call demands and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Obtain NFPA 70e Safety Training certification and stay current.

Responsibilities

• Stress safety as the top priority and ensure proper practices.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision; on-call when directed.
• Prepare documentation and reports of work performed.
