Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational/technical training a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to operate company vehicle
• Ability to travel up to 10% for training and site coverage
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Emphasizes safety as the top priority and ensures proper safety practices are followed.
• Perform Solar Technician I responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Test, troubleshoot, maintain and repair solar equipment and systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using system monitoring applications.
• Document work performed and track time and materials.
• Create and close service tickets; track time/materials in Sprocket system.
• Provide on-call service at assigned solar facilities.
• Supervise and train Solar Technician Level I employees.
• Prepare reports and documentation of work performed.
• Collaborate with EPC management on process improvements and new technologies.
• Support a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
