Job summary

You will perform field maintenance, follow safety procedures, test and service solar equipment, and assist with on-site repairs while learning under supervision. Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 10% are required; on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures required.
• Basic understanding of solar installation/plant operations.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Proven safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety and follow safe work practices on site.
• Operate and maintain solar equipment and site tools.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts as needed under supervision.
• Be available for on-call emergency repairs as directed.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
