Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for full-time work on a McCamey, TX jobsite. You will perform field maintenance and advance toward higher responsibilities with safety as the core priority.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical/electrical basics, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to travel. On-call duties and drivers license are required for site coverage and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
• Mechanical/electrical background with safety awareness.
• Basic testing equipment knowledge and ability to read instructions.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification preferred or to be obtained.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Stresses safety as the top priority and ensures safe practices.
• Work safely; seek guidance for unfamiliar tasks.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment in multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Respond on-call as directed by supervisor.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Assist in process improvements and coordinate with EPC management.
