Job summary

You will perform basic solar equipment testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision, service solar plants, and prepare accurate reports of work performed; you may be on-call and travel as needed, while

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; technical training a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out of energized parts/systems.
• Basic understanding of solar installations and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority; follow safe practices at all times.
• Work safely and seek guidance for unfamiliar tasks.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance under supervision.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision.
• Be on-call to assist in emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate reports of work performed.
