Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is hiring a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform field maintenance and learn safe work practices within the solar industry. This full-time role will be discussed for location during the interview process.

You will service solar equipment across plants under supervision, perform testing and maintenance, document work, and be prepared to travel up to 10% as needed. Safety and accuracy are emphasized throughout.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; safety training certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority; all employees follow safe practices.
• Operate and care for company equipment and tooling.
• Service solar equipment in multiple plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance using monitoring programs.
• Respond on-call as directed to assist in emergency repairs.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Suggest process improvements and coordinate with EPC management.
