Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician (Level 1) to perform on-site solar equipment maintenance and learn safe work practices in the solar industry. This full-time, site-based role involves relocation to US locations, with no travel assignments and relocation costs borne by the candidate.

Responsibilities include safe operations, equipment servicing, documentation, and supporting site improvements while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and perform Lock Out/Tag Out of energized parts/systems.
• Effective verbal and written English language communication skills.
• Remain current in safety and technical trainings.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority; ensure safe practices are followed at all times.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment in multiple solar plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Prepare accurate documentation and required reports of work performed.
