SOLVE Energy is seeking a contingent role position with potential to transition to permanent. You will service solar equipment across plants, perform basic testing and maintenance under supervision, and follow strict safety procedures. Expect on-call duties and travel to sites as needed.

Responsibilities include documenting work, supporting improvements with EPC, and upholding SOLV Energy’s diversity and inclusion values while operating company tools and equipment safely.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; vocational/technical training is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment through training or experience.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to identify and perform safe Lock Out/Tag Out of energized parts/systems.
• Basic knowledge of a solar installation/plant.
• Basic testing equipment knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Valid driver license and willingness to travel up to 10% for training/site coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Stresses safety as the top priority and ensures employees follow safe practices.
• Operate and care for company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple solar plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of solar equipment.
• Replace or repair solar parts and equipment under supervision.
• Respond on-call for emergency repairs as directed.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Collaborate with EPC management on improvements and new technologies.
