Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• Experience in mechanical/electrical environments through training or work.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to perform Lock Out/Tag Out of energized parts/systems.
• Basic knowledge of solar installation/plant and testing equipment.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification required; travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the top priority and all employees follow safe practices.
• Operate and maintain company property, equipment, and tooling.
• Service solar equipment at multiple solar plants under supervision.
• Perform basic testing, troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Replace or repair solar parts under supervision; on-call for emergencies.
• Prepare accurate documentation and required reports of work performed.
• Collaborate on process improvements and coordinate with EPC management.
