Job summary

Pearce Services in Cantua Creek, CA seeks a Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar plants near Cantua Creek. Local candidates within 50 miles preferred; travel up to 25%.

You will work with electrical and mechanical systems, use testing tools such as DMMs, and follow safety protocols. OSHA compliance and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Commercial/Industrial O&M on solar power plants preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Must understand safety protocols including LOTO and JHA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
• Document work orders, time logs, inventory, and emergency schedules.
• Troubleshoot electrical components with testing tools.
• Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Maintain strong safety practices and on-site safety compliance.
• Operate safely a motor vehicle and follow company policies.
