PEARCE is seeking an Advanced Solar Field Service Technician (Operations and Maintenance) to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar power plants near Grants Pass, Oregon. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical work, safety-first mindset, and ability to work solo or in a team.

Candidates should have 2+ years of solar O&M experience, familiarity with inverters and tracker/substation equipment, and the capability to train others.

Formación

• 2+ years’ experience in Commercial/Industrial operations and maintenance (O&M) on solar power plants is preferred.
• Preventative Maintenance experience on Solar Utility equipment is preferred.
• Candidates should possess strong mechanical and electrical experience with troubleshooting and installation skills.
• Specific solar experience with Inverters, Tracker Systems, or Sub-Stations Equipment (TMEIC/SMA/Sungrow/Nextracker/ATI, etc.) is preferred.
• Takes initiative to escalation issues at site.
• Ability to train, mentor, and develop laborers into Apprentices.
• High aptitude and a strong work ethic are a must.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of Solar Utility and Sub-Station equipment.
• Responsible for documentation including, but not limited to, work orders, time logs, inventory control, and emergency information schedules.
• Provide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment.
• Testing/troubleshooting installed solar equipment and ensuring proper working order.
• Must have a strong safety background with experience in Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Able work in a solo as well as a group environment.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.
