Pearce Services in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician III to support utility-scale solar farms. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain ground-mount PV systems, central/string inverters, and related equipment on site.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of utility-scale solar experience on ground‑mount systems.
• Experience leading crews or acting as lead tech on-site.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills on inverters and power electronics.
• Familiar with Solar O&M and safety standards (OSHA/NFPA 70E).
• Proficient with test equipment and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair utility‑scale solar systems, including inverters and string circuits.
• Perform testing: LOTO, IV curve tracing, megger testing, IR scans.
• Assign work, track progress, and keep jobs on schedule.
• Perform O&M on utility‑scale solar plants.
• Inspect completed work for quality and safety.
• Enforce safety requirements on-site (OSHA, NFPA 70E).
• Train and support junior technicians.
