Job summary

New Energy Equity in Minnesota is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician III- Solar to act as the technical authority in the field, leading inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs while mentoring technicians on PV systems.

Role is on-site, field-based at solar sites around St. Cloud. You must live in the St. Cloud area or relocate before start. Compensation ranges from $92,000 to $115,000 with a $3k sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Master Electrician license or ability to convert from another state.
• Proven leadership in field service, inspections, troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive inspections and maintenance of solar sites.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior technicians and document work activities.
• Maintain safety standards and project documentation.
