Job summary

New Energy Equity in El Paso, Texas is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician III - Solar. This on-site, field-based role requires driving to solar sites in and around El Paso, with relocation if needed. You will lead inspections, troubleshoot, repair, and mentor technicians, owning sites and guiding how work is performed.

Requirements include a Texas Master Electrician license and strong safety focus. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, company truck, overtime pay, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Active Texas Master Electrician license or equivalent license you can convert to Minnesota before start date.
• Strong ability to lead field teams and mentor junior technicians.
• Excellent safety mindset with proven field performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs at sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in the field.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to technicians in the field.
