MN8 Energy, Inc. is seeking a Solar Technician II/III to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on solar, storage, and EV charging systems.

The role includes leadership and hands-on training for junior technicians, with emphasis on safety and quality in daily field tasks. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, OSHA knowledge, and strong electrical theory, with ability to read schematics and perform IV curve tracing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check.
• Ability to communicate in English both orally and writing.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet based program navigation.
• Proven experience understanding and implementing OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand basic design drawings and schematics.
• Intermediate to advance electrical theory knowledge.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform and interpret IV Curve tracing.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate integrity, initiative, work ethic, and safety commitment in all tasks.
• Complete required safety training and review safety policies before work.
• Attend weekly safety meetings and provide leadership to junior technicians.
• Oversee and train Solar Technician 1 and 2 in the area.
• Ensure PPE is received, inspected, and used per safety policies.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on solar, storage, and EV charging systems.
• Troubleshoot installations, determine root causes, and repair to resume service.
• Complete tasks safely, accurately, and within timeframes.
• Document work with checklists, timecards, and photos.
• Assist supervisor with additional duties as assigned.
