Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Performance Technician to oversee service and warranty work, coordinating with the Branch Manager, Electrical Foreman, and field teams to ensure timely, quality installations and service across residential solar projects.

The role requires 1–3 years in field solar or construction, NEC knowledge, strong customer service, and a commitment to safety, with a High School diploma and a valid driver’s license; Electrical Journeyman certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Allocate labor resources with Foreman and Branch Manager to service projects.
• Lead training and onboarding for field technicians.
• Regularly exceed goals for field performance KPIs.
• Assist with inspections and site audits when assigned.
