Job summary

Sunrun in Orlando is seeking a Field Performance Technician to manage, schedule, and complete all service and warranty work within the Field Service/Field Performance team. You will collaborate with the Branch Manager, Electrical Foreman, and central scheduling to ensure timely, high-quality service.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of solar field experience, familiarity with PV installation and NEC codes, and a commitment to safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of previous field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred.
• High School diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices.
• Support the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance team.
• Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance key performance indicators including but not limited to turnaround time, experience rating and average dispatches completed.
