Job summary

Sunrun in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Field Performance Technician to manage and complete service and warranty work across our residential solar and storage systems. You will coordinate with the Branch Manager, Electrical Foreman, and Field Service team to allocate labor and ensure quality on each project.

The role requires 1–3 years in field construction or solar, a HS diploma, and strong customer service, communication, and safety skills.

Qualifications

1-3 years of previous field construction or solar experience required
PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred
High School diploma is required

Responsibilities

Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
Coordinate with Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and Branch Manager to allocate labor resources.
Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices.
Support onboarding and training of new members of the field performance team.
Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance KPIs including turnaround time and dispatches completed.
Assist with other tasks including inspections and site audits when assigned
