Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Performance Technician in Sacramento, CA to manage service and warranty work with the Field Service/O&M team. You will coordinate with the Branch Manager and Electrical Foreman to assign labor, schedule field tasks, and ensure timely, quality service at customer sites.

The role requires 1-3 years in field construction or solar, a valid driver’s license, and NEC/code knowledge. PV installation knowledge is highly valued and safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of previous field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred.
• High School diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Work with Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices.
• Support the onboarding and training of new members of the field performance team.
• Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance KPIs including turnaround time, experience rating and average dispatches completed.
