Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Performance Technician to manage service and warranty work in the Bakersfield area. You will work independently and with the Performance O&M team, coordinating with the Branch Manager and Foreman to ensure timely completion and high-quality service.

The role requires 1–3 years in field construction or solar, with PV design experience preferred and a valid driver’s license. There is emphasis on safety, customer service, and meeting performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma required.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Electrical Journeyman certification or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and manage the warranty and service schedule.
• Coordinate labor resources with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and Branch Manager.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices.
• Support onboarding and training of new field performance team members.
• Strive to exceed field performance KPIs such as turnaround time and dispatches.
