Job summary

Sunrun Inc. seeks a Field Performance Technician to manage service and warranty work on residential solar systems. You will troubleshoot issues, communicate with supervisors, and complete dispatches while maintaining safety and quality across sites.

The role requires a High School diploma and 1–3 years of solar or field construction experience, with preferred PV installation knowledge and skill in coordinating with multiple teams to resolve problems promptly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience preferred.
• PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve solar electric warranty and service issues for modules, inverters, monitoring and balance of system components.
• Coordinate with Construction Supervisor and Engineering Team to resolve redline issues and drive safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Receive, update and complete Field Service Dispatches (FSDs) with Service Dashboard in Salesforce.
• Develop and refine processes and gain technical skills for residential solar PV systems following department policy.
