Job summary

Enstall Solar Group is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to drive technical sales activities across the Eastern United States, with a focus on the Northeast. The role requires residence in the region and ~50% travel, including 5–10 overnights monthly.

You will support product applications, deliver demonstrations, perform joint calls with sales, and train customers on rooftop mounting solutions. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training or a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical installation and engineering, procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of working time, with 5-10 overnight trips per month.
• Familiarity with Salesforce (CRM systems), and MS Excel and able to learn and adapt to a variety of software tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical sales visits, events, trainings.
• Generate training reports to ensure all customer and sales engagements are being accounted for and captured.
• Coordinate and provide on-the-job training for new opportunities on the ground and rooftop.
• Provide customer feedback on improvements to products and/or training content.
• Leverage professional network, coordinating training and with non-competing solar manufacturers in an effort to generate product demand.
