Job summary

IronRidge, Inc., part of the Enstall Solar Group, is seeking a Field Applications Engineer for the Eastern United States with heavy travel (~50%). You will support technical product applications, demonstrate products, train customers, and collaborate with sales to expand our solar mounting solutions.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience or a 4-year degree, with familiarity in Salesforce and PV design software.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training or a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical installation and engineering procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• OSHA 10 Construction certification is required.
• Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical sales visits, events, trainings.
• Generate training reports to ensure customer and sales engagements are captured.
• Coordinate and provide on-the-job training for new opportunities on ground and rooftop.
• Provide feedback on product improvements to engineering and training content.
• Leverage network to generate product demand with other solar manufacturers.
• Develop curriculum for new products including reference library and training aids.
• Maintain records and report weekly on product changes and market trends.
