Job summary

Enstall Solar Group is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support the Northeast region and travel ~50% with 5–10 overnights monthly. You will perform technical product applications, demos, joint calls with sales, and on-the-ground training to expand IronRidge’s market presence.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience or a 4-year degree, with familiarity in solar layout, design software, and CRM tools. Location preference: Eastern US, preferably New England.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical sales visits, events and trainings.
• Generate training reports for customer and sales engagements.
• Coordinate and provide on-the-job training for new opportunities on the ground and rooftop.
• Provide customer feedback on product and training content.
• Leverage network to coordinate training with solar manufacturers to generate demand.
• Develop curriculum for new products/services, including reference library and visual aids.
• Maintain records and report changes in products, market trends and code compliance.
• Report on competitive landscape and market intelligence.
• Design PV layouts in PV design software to support Sales, Distributors and End Users.
• Document application support questions and calls clearly.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Product Teams for product development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
