Job summary

IronRidge, an Enstall company, seeks a Field Applications Engineer to cultivate business opportunities through technical product applications, product demonstrations, and direct customer visits. The role requires 50% travel across the Eastern United States with emphasis on the Northeast, and involves supporting sales teams and training customers on solar mounting solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience or a 4-year degree, with proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, and PV

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training or a bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Plan territory technical sales visits, events, trainings.
• Generate training reports for customer and sales engagements.
• Coordinate on-the-job training for new opportunities in the field.
• Provide feedback on product improvements based on customer input.
• Develop curriculum for new products and services, including training materials.
• Maintain records and report market trends and product changes.
• Report on competitive landscape and market intelligence.
• Design PV layouts in design software to support Sales and End Users.
