Job summary

Cinterra is hiring an Electrical Foreman for the Strata Blue Ridge Solar Project in Virginia. The role leads field crews, manages day-to-day on-site operations, and ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence on utility-scale solar work up to 20 MW DC.

Strong communication, planning, and electrical expertise are essential to coordinate with subcontractors, AHJs, and project managers while maintaining customer satisfaction on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; advanced education preferred.
• Three+ years of construction management and/or electrical experience.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations; OSHA training and certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Able to work long hours including weekends and travel full time.
• Familiar with local codes, AHJ standards, and NEC code.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Collaborative work style and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value throughout the company.
• Assist project team with budgeting and estimating production rates.
• Assist project team with developing accurate take-offs and assisting PM to obtain customer approval of documents.
• Receive, store, and protect project material and equipment; document shortages and damage.
• Oversee utilization/maintenance of equipment assigned to the project facility.
• Manage the completion of all installations from start to finish.
• Direct and manage electrical crew activities including timecard submission and cost coding.
• Coordinate with MVUG general foreman on underground and MV activities.
• Assist project manager coordinating subcontractor activities.
• Track daily progress, notable events, and upcoming events.
• Assist project manager with weekly forecasting and look-ahead.
• Attend customer meetings, resolve questions with PM.
• Maintain overall customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate AHJ and QA inspections and ensure proper documentation.
• Resolve problems due to weather, emergencies, or delays.
• Maintain project records accurately.
• Provide support to other Cinterra divisions.
• Promote safety as a core value throughout the project.
