Job summary

Cinterra is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a renewables project at Blue Rock Solar Project in Virginia. You will lead onsite crews, coordinate electrical activities, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery of the installation.

Ability to read plans, manage schedules, and communicate with clients is essential. The role requires strong leadership, problem‑solving, and hands-on electrical expertise on utility scale solar projects up to 20MW DC, with occasional travel and long hours as

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; advanced education (preferred).
• Three or more years of construction management and/or electrical experience (preferred).
• Familiar with OSHA regulations (required), OSHA training and certifications (preferred).
• Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work long hours, travel full time as needed.
• Familiar with local codes, AHJ standards, and NEC code.
• Understands how to read and interpret plans, and specifications.
• Effective time management skills, prioritization and deadlines.
• Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
• Pre-employment onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value and support the safety program.
• Assist with project budgeting and estimating production rates.
• Support documentation and customer approvals for required documents.
• Receive, store, and protect project materials and equipment; report shortages or damage.
• Oversee equipment utilization and maintenance on site.
• Manage completion of all installations from start to finish.
• Direct electrical crews; ensure accurate timecards and cost coding.
• Coordinate underground and MV activities with foreman; coordinate subcontractors.
• Track daily progress and upcoming events; report to project manager.
• Attend customer meetings; resolve questions with project manager.
