Job summary

Moss seeks a Solar Electrical Field Engineer to support large utility-scale solar projects across multiple states. The role assists the Electrical Assistant and Project Manager with startup, scheduling, procurement, and tracking of materials and submittals.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, solar internship or project engineer experience, strong communication, and basic finance skills. Regular travel and collaboration with owners, A/E teams, and vendors are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Solar internship or project engineer experience (6 months to 1 year).
  • Proficiency with construction project management applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fundamental finance skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates project startup and mobilization, schedules, and subcontractor orientation.
  • Expedites material deliveries, reviews submittals, and manages fabrication status.
  • Coordinates construction activities, conducts meetings, and ensures safety compliance.
  • Manages contract administration, change orders, and RFI process.
  • Tracks costs and supports change order process.
