Job summary

Moss is hiring a Solar Electrical Field Engineer to support large utility-scale solar projects. You will assist the Electrical Assistant and Project Manager with contract administration, submittals, procurement, and scheduling while interacting with staff at all levels.

The role requires a strong, proactive communicator and comfort with travel across multiple states. Qualified candidates have a construction or engineering degree, solar internship or project engineer experience, and solid PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year solar internship or experience as project engineer or assistant project engineer.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction project management applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with diverse stakeholders.
• Basic finance skills are required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project startup tasks including contract reviews, startup checklists, and schedule development.
• Expedite materials by managing submittals, fabrication and delivery schedules, and coordination drawings.
• Coordinate construction activities with the Superintendent and conduct pre-construction meetings.
• Assist with procurement, change orders, and invoicing processes; maintain logs and project records.
• Support project administration, RFI handling, and compliance with policies.
