Job summary

Moss seeks a Solar Electrical Field Engineer to support administrative and technical management of large utility-scale solar projects. You will assist the Electrical Assistant and Project Manager with contract administration, submittals, procurement, and scheduling.

Ideal candidates have a relevant bachelor's degree, solid computer skills, strong communication, and willingness to travel across multiple states.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline.
Six months to one-year Solar internship or related project engineering experience in construction.
Strong computer skills with construction project management applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with owners' representatives and teams.
Basic finance skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project start-up: review contracts, startup checklist, site utilization, mobilization, subcontracts, milestones, and scheduling.
Expedite materials: submittal log, fabrication and delivery schedules, delivery verification, and coordination drawings.
Coordinate construction activities with Superintendent and attend meetings to track progress.
Support project administration: manage agreements, insurance/bonds, minutes, RFIs, and Prolog.
Track project costs: process pay requests, monitor owner payments, and cost reporting.
Assist with change orders: scope changes, schedule impacts, pricing, and negotiations.
