Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical coursework preferred.
• 0-3 years in construction materials testing or geotechnical lab work; prior lab experience helpful.
• Follow OSHA, safety protocols, and PPE usage; basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office) and data recording.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing on soil, concrete, and other construction materials following ASTM, AASHTO, and applicable standards.
• Ensure project testing requirements meet specifications, company policies, and procedures.
• Accurately document and report test results with organized, error-free records.
• Assist with sample preparation, handling, and proper storage maintaining sample integrity and traceability.
• Operate laboratory testing equipment.
• Follow strict safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Communicate with lab supervisors, engineers, and field personnel about test results and issues.
