Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical coursework preferred.
  • 0-3 years of experience in construction materials testing or related lab work.
  • Follow OSHA and lab safety protocols, PPE usage, and documentation standards.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and field data collection software.
  • Ability to read procedures, manuals, and test reports.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates per standards.
  • Document and report test results with organized, error-free records.
  • Prepare samples, handle and store materials, and ensure traceability.
  • Operate laboratory testing equipment and maintain lab organization.
  • Follow safety protocols and communicate results to supervisors and field staff.
  • Assist with additional duties as needed to support projects.
