Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Software Systems Support Specialist to join our technical operations team. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot our software systems, acting as the bridge between end-users and development teams to diagnose errors and assist with deployments.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in technical support, strong root-cause analysis, and experience with Windows/Linux/macOS environments, databases, and networking. Travel under 10% and relocation none.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1-3 years in technical support or IT system support.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, ITIL, AWS Fundamentals are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to application software and OS.
• Manage tickets in Jira/ServiceNow/Zendesk, prioritize by impact.
• Support deployments, patches, and config updates.
• Coordinate with engineers and vendors for escalations.
• Assist end-users with access, permissions, and guidance.
• Create and maintain internal knowledge base and SOPs.
