Motorola Solutions is hiring a detail-oriented Software Systems Support Specialist for our NYC-based technical operations team. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot our software systems, serving as the bridge between end-users and development teams to diagnose errors and support deployments.
Ideal candidates have strong root-cause analysis skills, customer-first mindset, and hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/macOS, SQL, and issue-tracking tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and Zendesk.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; 1-3 years in technical support roles.
- Strong root-cause analysis, customer-first mindset, and OS, DB, and workflow familiarity.
Mansioni
- Diagnose, reproduce, and resolve issues related to application software, OS, and integrations.
- Manage inbound support requests via Jira/ServiceNow/Zendesk, prioritize by impact, meet SLAs.
- Support routine software deployments, patches, configurations, and testing.
- Escalate to Tier 2/3 with engineers or vendors for complex resolutions.
- Assist end-users with access, configuration, and feature guidance; document SOPs.
