Motorola Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Software Systems Support Specialist to join the technical operations team in the NYC area. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot our software systems and act as a bridge between end-users and development teams.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, customer-first mindset, and hands-on experience with operating systems, databases, and workflows. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent).
• 1–3 years in technical support, application support, or IT system support.
• Bonus certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ or ITIL are a plus.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, reproduce, and resolve issues related to software and integrations.
• Manage inbound support requests via Jira or ticketing systems and meet SLAs.
• Support deployments, patches, and configuration updates; test applications.
• Isolate bugs and coordinate with engineers or vendors for Tier 2/3 fixes.
• Assist end-users with access, permissions, and feature guidance.
• Create and maintain internal knowledge bases and SOPs.
