Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a System Technologist to upgrade customer servers, migrate databases, and ensure service levels with strong customer satisfaction. You will troubleshoot with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain positive, proactive client relationships.

The role emphasizes windows/linux server experience, SQL knowledge and scripting abilities, with a focus on reliable, secure deployments in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in technical customer support and/or technical business analysis role.
• Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade customer servers with the latest software release.
• Migrate legacy databases into new database structures.
• Ensure customer satisfaction involves proper support, and delivery on contracted service level agreements.
• Work with team members and other internal MSI teams to provide exceptional customer service and technical support, as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues with the customer.
