Job summary
Omada Health is seeking a software engineer for the Solutions Engineering Team to design tailored technical solutions and demonstrate value across products and systems. You will build home-grown tooling to remove repetitive work and own moderate-complexity features with cross-functional partners.
You'll work with AI-assisted development, scale APIs and integrations, and grow your craft alongside senior engineers. A remote-first culture supports flexible, impactful contributions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years writing readable, tested, and efficient production code.
- Rails experience preferred; open to exceptional backend engineers in other languages.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and building APIs/integrations across service boundaries.
- Fluent with AI-assisted development and knowing where it helps or not.
- Experience with workflow-automation platforms (e.g., Tines, n8n).
- Proven track record shipping measurable improvements and strong debugging skills.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes and ramping onto unfamiliar codebases.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship home-grown and integrated tooling to reduce toil and manual work.
- Own enhancements and moderate-complexity features across automations and integrations.
- Collaborate with commercial, product, and engineering stakeholders on solutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations and address issues for internal teams.
- Leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and quality.
