Job summary

Omada Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale data platform capabilities using cloud-native tech and AI-driven solutions. You will develop reusable frameworks and engineering patterns to enable teams to deliver scalable data products and AI-powered workflows.

You will leverage Generative AI to improve data discovery, governance, and developer productivity, while ensuring security and reliability across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software or data engineering experience building scalable data platforms and pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for production-grade data systems.
• Hands-on with distributed computing and cloud-native tech (Spark, Kubernetes).
• IaC experience using Terraform or similar (Pulumi, CloudFormation/CDK).
• Experience applying data quality, lineage, governance, reliability, and observability practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable Data & AI platform capabilities for analytics and Generative AI use cases.
• Develop reusable abstractions, templates, services, and workflows for data pipelines and data products.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Applied-AI, and Data-Engineering teams to support decisions.
• Evaluate and integrate modern data/AI technologies focusing on scalability and cost efficiency.
• Apply Generative AI to improve data enablement, discovery, and platform usability.
