Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer I to advance our Technology landscape. You will perform end-to-end engineering tasks, including development, testing, debugging, and health monitoring, based on design specifications.

You will participate in troubleshooting, impact analysis, and escalation as needed. The role requires completing intermediate engineering tasks, collaborating with teammates to resolve defects and incidents, and expanding your technical knowledge while delivering quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related STEM field.
• 2 additional years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with AWS, React and Node.js.
• Ability to deliver work at a steady pace and decompose tasks.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Leadership potential and independence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and configure for intermediate complexity tasks.
