Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Technology landscape. You will perform end-to-end engineering tasks including development, analysis, configuration, testing, debugging, and health monitoring based on design specs, with US work authorization.

Collaborate with teammates to analyze defects, resolve incidents, and expand technical knowledge while delivering tasks at a steady, predictable pace. This role does not sponsor visa petitions.

Qualifications

• Three years of programming/development experience.
• Proficient with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web technologies.
• Ability to deliver work at a steady, predictable pace and decompose tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, development and configuration for intermediate complexity systems.
• Collaborate with team to analyze defects, incidents and escalate appropriately.
• Work within guidelines to tackle well-scoped problems and expand technical knowledge.
• Document work clearly and participate in troubleshooting and health monitoring.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
