Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Technology team. You will complete intermediate end-to-end engineering tasks for specific system assignments, including development, testing, debugging, documenting, health monitoring and implementation per design specs.

You will participate in troubleshooting, impact analysis and escalation as needed. A strong foundation in modern web technologies and collaboration with teammates is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate analysis, design, development and configuration.
• Collaborate with team to resolve defects and incidents of intermediate complexity.
• Work within guidelines to tackle well-scoped problems independently.
• Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
