Job summary

Commure + Athelas is building the AI-powered RCM platform for healthcare providers. We’re seeking a Software Engineer to scale the Insights platform and maintain a robust web stack across thousands of practices nationwide. You will help deliver high-impact features, improve reliability, and push performance as we grow.

You’ll collaborate with product and design, own multi-month projects, and contribute to scalable, secure, healthcare-focused software in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in full-stack development with React/Vue, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience owning multi-month, high-impact projects.
• Strong understanding of modern front-end engineering, React fundamentals, performance optimization, state management and component-driven design.
• Experience designing APIs and optimizing database performance.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a focus on observability (monitoring, logging, and alerting).
• Excellent communication skills for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build features for the practice management platform, Insights, and scale to thousands of practices and users.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions using ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Improve system reliability and observability by implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices.
• Optimize performance and scalability of web applications as we expand.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and backend teams to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Own high-impact projects with fast, high-ownership execution.
• Conduct in-depth code reviews and drive architectural improvements across the stack.
• Work with product and design teams to build intuitive experiences for healthcare providers and staff.
