Commure is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for Air Billing, the team behind high-traffic surfaces like claims, appointments, and payments posting in our practice management product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building full-stack applications with production shipping experience.
• Frontend skills to build clean, maintainable UIs for data-dense screens.
• API and data-layer fundamentals for backend endpoints and pagination.
• Sound technical judgment for feature-level work, balancing risks and avoiding over-engineering.
• Strong debugging, observability, and monitoring instincts.
• Clear communication with teammates and partners; ownership mindset and urgency.
• Experience working with healthcare billing data and regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end on claims, appointments, and payments-posting surfaces from design to production rollout.
• Write production-ready code with tests and observability; design clean data models.
• Collaborate with product, design, and billing operations to ensure the solution meets workflow needs.
• Build reliability with dashboards, logging, and alerting for fast issue detection.
• Review code and designs for correctness, performance, and consistent UX.
• Help set technical standards and onboarding for the team as it scales.
