Job summary

Home Base, Inc. is seeking Paraprofessional Assistant Coordinators to support families and at-risk children in Martinsburg, WV. This role offers opportunity for hands-on social work experience and involves in-home services, foster care support, and family education within trauma-informed programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pass fingerprint background check (CIB) and APS/CPS screening.
• Must communicate effectively with families, case workers, and supervisors.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and insurance and own reliable transportation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and general computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Establish personalized service plans and provide interventions.
• Schedule weekly client visits and maintain case records.
• Document all contacts and interventions with client responses.
• Coordinate with DHHR case managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Testify in court as needed and manage case closures.
