Job summary

Operation Restoration in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Social Services Administration Specialist to lead all social services programs and supervise staff, interns or volunteers. You will manage case work, develop client-care plans, and ensure high-quality service delivery across departments.

Reporting to the Senior Advisor Special Projects, you will oversee budget, data management, and compliance, while coordinating with community partners and expanding services for impacted women and girls.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience billing Medicaid and other federally funded programs.
• 3-5 years of experience in a non-profit setting that provides social services.
• 2-4 years of experience writing grants and securing funding.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Products, and CRMs or data management systems.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects at the same time.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people positively representing Operation Restoration.
• Experience working with formerly incarcerated women preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide written and oral updates to the senior management team on a regular basis.
• Meet weekly with the executive team to report escalating issues or events that impact client services.
• Supervise all Social Services programs and identify opportunities to expand and improve them.
• Develop effective integration strategies for clients and supervise care plans.
• Coordinate Social Services across programs to ensure quality case management.
• Improve processes to implement support groups for formerly incarcerated women and obtain certifications.
• Oversee the management of the Rapid Response Program.
• Create and monitor control measurements for all Social Services programs.
• Maintain electronic and paper files with audits conducted regularly.
• Manage the Social Services annual budget and expenditures.
• Collaborate to ensure reporting and compliance metrics for SNAP E&T.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff and volunteers; conduct weekly meetings.
• Provide or arrange SME training and maintain a staff training tracker.
