Job summary

City of New Orleans is seeking a professional supervisor to oversee counseling assessment, referrals and other human services for individuals, families, and groups in community, institutional, clinical and/or home settings. The role includes direct-line supervision of subordinate social workers and/or other professionals within a service delivery program.

Applicants must hold an MSW from an accredited program and have LMSW/LCSW/CSW licensure; at least three years of relevant professional

Qualifications

• MSW degree from an accredited college or university.
• LMSW, LCSW, or CSW licensure required by Louisiana State Board.
• Three (3) years of professional experience in the field of Social Work, Social Welfare or Public Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct-line supervision of subordinate social workers and/or other professional social services counselors for a service delivery program within a facility or region.
• Oversee counseling assessment, referrals and other human services to individuals, families, and groups in various settings.

Master of Social Work (MSW) degree

Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
