Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks a dedicated Social Services Coordinator for Seattle Temple to oversee case work and manage the Charis Place and Pathway of Hope programs, including budgeting and referrals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field (or equivalent experience), strong community outreach skills, and proficiency with WellSky, HMIS, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Christian Ministry, or related field preferred or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience and/or strong interest in community outreach and coalition work.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds in a sensitive, inclusive manner.
• Ability to coordinate volunteers and staff for meaningful work toward goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel; familiarity with HMIS/WellSky is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for clients in Pathway of Hope and Charis Place programs.
• Supervise Food Bank Coordinator and oversee financial assistance processes.
• Maintain client records and ensure HMIS/WellSky data accuracy.
• Manage budget of approximately $100,000 and coordinate with Finance.
• Develop community partnerships to support program goals.
• Coordinate intake for Christmas food and toy assistance as needed.
• Ensure timely reporting and statistics for social services programs.
• Assist in recruitment and training of staff and volunteers.
