Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Social Services Coordinator in the United States to support clients, oversee volunteers, and manage program funds and reporting. You will interview applicants, assess needs, coordinate referrals, and develop case plans to strengthen family sufficiency in a faith-based nonprofit setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethics codes, and participating in community collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field or equivalent training/experience.
• 1+ years of applicant interview or case management experience.
• Experience working with low-income populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with applicants, assess needs and determine eligibility for resources.
• Provide information on resources and coach on reducing energy consumption where applicable.
• Facilitate case management using Pathway of Hope guidelines and coordinate referrals.
• Maintain client confidentiality and obtain releases of information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
