Job summary

EMPLOYERS is seeking a Territory Field Sales Manager for Southern California. The role focuses on building robust relationships with insurance agents and coordinating with underwriting teams to become the Work Comp expert in the region.

You will prospect new agencies, drive premium growth, and develop training programs with internal partners. Travel within the territory is expected to maximize production and support strategic risk-management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Five years of insurance and/or sales experience.
• Capable of working with limited direction.
• Strong knowledge of workers' compensation and related audits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with insurance agents in the territory.
• Maintain relationships with underwriting team and other internal partners.
• Act as Work Comp expert and provide opportunities to agents.
• Meet or exceed premium goals in line with company objectives.
• Develop producer management processes and education programs.
• Identify and pursue new appointments; manage agency relationships.
• Conduct agency audits and provide action plans as needed.
• Travel within territory as required; support field production.
